Highwoods Pottery - Bexhill

I'm snowed in today, so I have lots of time to post a few articles. Here one few of you would have come across.

Highwoods Pottery was based at Bexhill home of the respected artist Albert Goodwin and run by his daughter Christabel. In the Royal Academy catalogue for their 1911 Summer exhibition, there are several Goodwins living in Ellerslie Lane, Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex.

I have only ever seen 5 or 6 items and all bought in the south coast towns. The items seen have all been colourful hand painted patterns on bought in blanks with painted marks on the underside.

Apparently she did some hand modelled figures but I have not seen any yet.

Any more information would be helpful.
