V is for Charles Vyse (1882 - 1971)

He was a pioneer studio pottery and ceramic artist. Best remembered for series of figures depicting various itinerant trades; Lavender Girl, Autumn Leaves, The Gypsies, Tulip Women, Piccadily Rose woman etc, also other quirky art pottery figures.
