L is for Liberty

To continue my alphabet of British Arts and Crafts metalware - L is for Liberty

Art metal for produce for the famous Regents Street store established by Arthur Lasenby Liberty (1843-1917) in 1875 are the amongst the most collect of the British arts and crafts metalware. These include the well known pewter range called Tudric and the silver Cymric made by W H Haseler of Birmingham.

Many influential designers were used including; Archibald Knox, Oliver Baker and Jessie Marion King
