Boxsius FLIES !! - Auction Update

Here are the results for the featured lots;

Lot 230 - S G Boxsius "Corfe Castle" - £543.40 (inc buyers premium) against an estimate of £100-150
Yes !! really - lovely picture. Market forces at work here,find another ?. The expert auctioneer valuer, knew the market value of this one - spot on !!
Lot 232 - Bresslern-Roth "North African Donkeys" - Estimate £400-600 - It did NOT seem to sell.
Lot 238 - E G G Craig "King Lear" - £1012.70 (inc buyers premium) against an estimate of £250-350
Lot 241 - P Crossdale "folio of woodcuts" - £666.90 (inc buyers premium) against an estimate of £200-300
Lot 243 - Barbara Greg "" - £86.45 (inc buyers premium) against an estimate of £80-120
Lot 264 - Leon Underwood "" - £234.65 (inc buyers premium) against an estimate of £150-200
Lot 269 - Desiree Whitford "" - £98.80 (inc buyers premium) against an estimate of £70-100

Very mixed return - The Craig woodcut was the most astounding price. Whilst illustrated in "Woodcuts Today" (if I recall correctly) and a very powerful but economically drafted image; it was issued in several states and in this version in an edition of 150. Did a collector buy this ? or a dealer for stock ?
